J.T.
Glisson has been an illustrator, publisher, and businessman in
Cross Creek for most of his life. During his childhood and adolescence,
Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings was his friend and neighbor. In this
charming book, illustrated with his own pencil drawings, he reminisces
about his years there, his experiences, and his Cross Creek Neighbors
a handful of independent, ornery Cracker families
with
the exception of a writer from up north and one extended black
family.
