This
book is a bundle of tales from the hinterlands of America, each
one collected from Pond's Back Forty column, syndicated to newspapers
around the country. This book features stories like Ra-a-alph
the dreaded fish feeding syndrome - when everyone on the boat seemed
to be named "Ra-a-alph," and those who weren't sick are
the one giving advice. "Look at the horizon." "Don't
look down." "Eat a good breakfast." "Don't eat
breakfast." "Go to bed early." "Stay up all
night." This book is fun reading for anyone with a love of
the outdoors or a taste for the country.
